The Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (UFRGS), through the Center for Studies and Research in Administration (CEPA), carried out a recent study to investigate the Socioeconomic Profile of the Tobacco Producer of the Southern Region of Brazil. Commissioned by SindiTabaco, the survey was conducted between August 29 and September 16, 2016, in 15 of the 21 micro-regions producing tobacco that make up the Southern Region of Brazil, and provides data on income, property, living standards, structure Family, property profile, access to services, succession, motivation, diversification, among others.
