The Research and Administration Service Center of the Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul (CEPA/UFRGS) conducted the second edition of the research relative to the Socioeconomic Profile of the Tobacco Farmers in the South Region of Brazil [2023]. At the request of SindiTabaco, the study is focused on such details as farmers’ income, assets, quality of life, family structure, profile of the farm, access to services, succession, motivation, crop diversification, among others. The first edition took place in 2016.
